Meal Plan Monday


It's that time of the week again. Here is our meal plan for the week. We did pretty good last week with sticking to the plan, but things come up sometimes and we switch gears for dinners. This week I am only trying one new recipe (Thai basil chicken) and the other dinners are pretty easy to throw together. With the holiday this upcoming weekend our weekend is still up in the air. 

I am really starting to love finding new recipes to make during the week and having our meals planned out. When C asks what we are having for dinner I am able to tell him right away instead of saying "I don't know". 

Meal Plan 8.29 - 9.4

Monday 
Breakfast: Oatmeal
Lunch: Buy at cafe at work
Dinner: Chinese chicken salad (kit from Costco)

Tuesday
Breakfast: Muffins (blueberry)
Lunch: Salad
Dinner: Spaghetti w/ meat sauce and garlic bread

Wednesday
Breakfast: Muffins (blueberry)
Lunch: Leftover spaghetti w/ meat sauce
Dinner: Thai basil chicken (America's Test Kitchen recipe)



Thursday
Breakfast: Muffins or Oatmeal
Lunch: Leftover Basil Chicken
Dinner: Out to dinner for my mother-in-law's birthday

Friday
Breakfast: Bagel w/ cream cheese
Lunch: Salad
Dinner: Picnic dinner at our favorite place to go stargazing (sandwiches, fruit, and chips)

Saturday
Breakfast: Not decided
Lunch: Out somewhere
Dinner: Ribs w/ corn on the cob

Sunday
Breakfast: Not decided
Lunch: We are going to a party
Dinner: Something quick and easy after the party
